ZAGREB, CROATIA (February 2012) - Famous singer Nina Badric, Croatia’s representative for Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan, revealed her song “Nebo” as the song she will compete with for this year’s search for Europe’s greatest song.
Nina was the host of an hour-long production last Saturday, where she performed several of her former and current hits, including a few songs from previous Dora competitions where Nina competed to represent Croatia on Eurovision. However, after three appearances in attempting to represent Croatia, this year the show was all about Nina, and most-certainly her song – Nebo.
Accompanying rich lyrics, full of powerful emotion and soul, composed by Nina herself, Nina provided a breathtaking vocal and visual performance as well. Nebo has definitely captured the audience’s attention in the days since, but also, as Nebo is a song found on Nina’s recently released album, titled “NeBo”.
The strong performance by Nina on Saturday evening in Zagreb intrigues the nation as to what Nina will bring to the main stage in Baku on May 24, 2012. Nina will compete against several neighboring countries from the region on the second evening of the Semi-Finals, where if successful, Nina will proceed to the finals on May 26, 2012.
Ahead of Nina are three months of intensive preparation and many decisions. It is still unknown whether or not the song will be performed in Croatian or English. Regardless, Nina ensures a great visual and audio performance in hope to achieve the best possible score for Croatia in the competition.
Congratulations to Nina and best of luck on her journey in Baku.
