ZAGREB, Croatia - Europapress Holding (EPH) recently introduced LikeCroatia.com, the most ambitious travel website in Croatia, a part of its Like Croatia tourism division that publishes the country’s most popular travel guides and magazines.
LikeCroatia.com, entirely in English, offers the ultimate overview of all summer events, concerts, festivals, exhibits and parties, accommodation tips, flight booking, restaurant and bar reviews, nightlife reports, daily news and more.
'LikeCroatia.com is the first website that combines all that Croatian tourism has to offer and helps guests organize their vacations" says Miran Pavic, director of digital operations at EPH. 'There’s a lot of stuff going on in Croatia, but sometimes it’s kind of hard to dig up. We aim to change that’, said Pavic.
Like Croatia is largest tourism project in Croatia, with more than 50,000 guides sold this year, with Croatian, English, Italian and German editions. Like Croatia also launched a weekly newspaper in English, Adriatic Times, with a Croatian and a Montenegrian edition, publishes Like Croatia magazine, organizes conferences and events, such as the regional H20 waterfest, and is developing iOS apps.
Like Croatia’s Facebook page has gathered more than 40,000 fans so far.
"We are extremely pleased with reactions of foreign and domestic guests, contacting on Facebook and asking when the website will be launched," says Heidi Cenan, Like Croatia Director. Web editor Yelena Primorac and her team have spents weeks creating rich databases on the website, which now contains thousands of events, restaurants, tips and other useful informations.
