Having celebrated his 25th year at the Harvard Club in New York, Chef Angelo has become a legend, known for his delicious creations and inspirational leadership at one of New York’s most exclusive dining establishments.
Harvard Yard may be a long way from the Istrian peninsula on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, but when The Harvard Club in New York decided to name its’ new head chef in 1995, the honors went to Istrian born Angelo Ljubicic. Chef Angelo, as he is known by his staff and club members, came to the United States in 1970. He spent 10 years at the well-known Downtown Athletic Club in New York and other smaller restaurants perfecting his craft and bringing a bit of Croatian cooking with him.
