NEW YORK - The Cosmos are back! Last summer, legendary New York soccer Club  Cosmos announced their return to the field of soccer and they are taking NYC by storm. One of their plans is in organizing this summer Cosmos Copa NYC (June 18^th – July 24^th).

Croatian Soccer Clubs from New York area; NY Croatia, NY Polet, Rudar and Istra  are working together to organize a team to represent the Croatian Community. We are looking for Croatian players over the age of 18 that reside in the tri-state area. They must be able to compete at a high level. Cosmos Copa is one of the most prominent amateur adult soccer tournaments in the United States. Situated in one of the world’s great cosmopolitan meccas, Cosmos Copa was created to bring New Yorkers together to enjoy the city’s rich cultural diversity through the spectacle of soccer. It is comprised of community based “national teams” whose players proudly play for the heritage and culture they represent. They compete for the esteemed title of “City Champion” and the honor of hoisting the historic “Mayor’s Cup”, the official NYC championship trophy sanctioned by the City of New York.
